Stylized editing

In this example, Mr. Forney took an out of focus shot from a recent couch concert, and edited it in order to visually change the style and atmosphere of the shot. While it does correct some of the blurriness, the focus is on how the over saturation and the shadows contrast each other with the lighting. Using the unsharp mask tool in adobe audition as well as the basic color correction functions, the desired aesthetic was achieved. He also edited the audio in Premiere Pro, in order to achieve the desired sound quality.

Just Paper Roses Ad

In this project, Mr. Forney worked as editor in a group to produce a 30 second ad for a business. JustPaperRoses.com wanted to advertise their sorority rose options. Using Premier Pro, Mr. Forney helped tell the story the way the company intended, adding emotional music and transitions that reflect sentimental feelings to the viewer in order to draw them in.

In this example, Mr. Forney took a wide out of focused shot from a couch concert and using the unsharp mask tool along with the color correction, was able to produce an image that unburied much of the singers body and guitar and also dimmed the over head light in order to produce a warmer, more intimate shot.
